Financial Policy

Clear expectations for scheduling, payments, and insurance.

Payment Structure

Dr. Gregor uses a time-based fee structure: you're paying for his expertise and the time required to identify and correct your specific patterns. New patient examinations are 90 minutes and include consultation, comprehensive evaluation, and initial treatment. Follow-up visits are 20 or 30 minutes depending on the complexity of your case.

For current appointment types and pricing, see the Booking Page.

Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Visa and MasterCard
  • Cash
  • Personal checks

Returned checks and credit card chargebacks incur a $35 processing fee.

New Patient Appointments

Prepayment is required for all new patient examinations and must be completed at the time of booking.

New patient appointments are:

  • Non-refundable
  • Non-transferable (cannot be transferred to another patient, friend, or family member)
  • Subject to a 2 business day cancellation policy

Cancellation policy: A minimum of 2 business days notice is required to reschedule a new patient appointment. If you cancel with less than 2 business days notice, the full appointment fee applies.

Exception: If another patient fills your cancelled appointment slot, your prepayment will be held as credit for future use.

Returning Patient Appointments

Cancellation policy: A minimum of 1 business day notice is required to cancel or reschedule 20-minute or 30-minute appointments. If you cancel with less than 1 business day notice, the full appointment fee applies.

To reschedule after a missed appointment: You must pay the missed appointment fee before booking your next visit.

Insurance

We do not participate with any insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of service.

Superbills provided: After each visit, you'll receive a detailed superbill containing all information your insurance company requires for out-of-network reimbursement. You submit the superbill directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement based on your plan's out-of-network benefits.

We cannot guarantee reimbursement amounts or whether your plan covers chiropractic or Applied Kinesiology care. Contact your insurance company before your appointment to verify your out-of-network benefits.

Why We Don't Accept Insurance

Insurance companies reimburse based on diagnosis codes and time, not results. Applied Kinesiology requires thorough examination and individualized treatment that doesn't fit insurance billing models.

Cash pay keeps your costs transparent and predictable. You know exactly what you're paying before your appointment. No surprise bills. No claim denials. No waiting months for reimbursement only to discover your plan doesn't cover the service.
