Everything you need to know before and after your first visit.
You've taken the first step toward finding answers and improving your health. At Dr. J.J. Gregor's practice, we're not your typical chiropractor. We don't just "rack 'em and crack 'em." We take time with patients and get to the root of health concerns.
Your first visit is 90 minutes. You'll receive a comprehensive examination using Applied Kinesiology muscle testing, orthopedic evaluation, neurological assessment, and initial treatment. You leave knowing what's wrong, what we're going to do about it, and how long it should take.
Follow-up visits are 20 or 30 minutes depending on the complexity of your case.
Complete your intake forms via email before your appointment. This saves time and ensures we can use the full 90 minutes productively.

Common questions about Applied Kinesiology, costs, insurance, scheduling, and what to expect.
Clear expectations for scheduling, payments, insurance, and cancellation policies. Prepayment is required for new patient appointments. We don't participate with insurance but provide detailed superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
Beyond clinical care, we provide comprehensive education to help you maintain corrections and optimize health across three essential areas:
Eating Right: Anti-inflammatory diet foundation to reduce inflammation and support healing. Protein and vegetables at every meal. Avoid the "Five Fingers of Death": sugar, wheat, dairy, soy, and corn. This diet doesn't replace treatment. Treatment doesn't replace this diet. Both are necessary for optimal results.
Live Right: Lifestyle practices that support nervous system function and recovery. Stress management, sleep optimization, meaningful connections, nature exposure, and recovery modalities (sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy). Get out of fight-or-flight and support rest-digest-heal.
Move Right: Movement, mobility, strength training, and cardiovascular conditioning to maintain structural corrections. Zone 2 training, strength periodization, yin yoga, and proper movement patterns that prevent dysfunction from returning.
Going beyond "your labs are normal" to identify dysfunction before disease. Functional interpretation of blood work, hormone testing (DUTCH), food sensitivity panels (Cyrex), and metabolic assessments. Used strategically in complex cases.
