Who needs Applied Kinesiology?

Applied Kinesiology is designed for people whose problems haven't been solved by standard treatment. Here's who benefits most.

SHORT ANSWER: EVERYONE (WITH A CAVEAT)

If you're looking to solve a complex health condition that's kept you from doing the things you used to do or want to achieve, Applied Kinesiology and chiropractic may uncover the answers.

We identify root causes of nervous system dysfunction and help you overcome them, optimizing your health and allowing you to be the best version of yourself.

But there's a caveat: you need to be willing to follow through. Applied Kinesiology identifies what's wrong. You have to be willing to correct it.

You're a Good Candidate If:

Your pain keeps coming back
You've tried chiropractic, physical therapy, or medical treatment. It helps temporarily, but the problem returns. That's a pattern, not a symptom. Applied Kinesiology identifies why your body keeps reverting to dysfunction.

Tests say you're "normal" but you're not
Imaging shows nothing. Lab work is fine. Doctors say everything looks good. But you still have pain, limited function, or symptoms that won't resolve. You're not crazy. You have functional dysfunction that conventional tests don't measure.

Multiple body systems seem involved
Your shoulder hurts, but your digestion is off and you're always tired. Or your back pain coincides with specific foods. Or stress makes your symptoms worse. When multiple systems are connected, Applied Kinesiology can identify the pattern linking them.

Nobody can figure out what's wrong
You've seen multiple practitioners. Everyone has a different diagnosis. Treatments conflict with each other. You're frustrated and confused. Applied Kinesiology examination often reveals the underlying pattern everyone else missed.

Standard treatment didn't work
Physical therapy, injections, medications, adjustments - you've tried everything your doctors recommended. Some helped a little. Nothing fixed it. That means the diagnosis was incomplete or the treatment addressed symptoms instead of cause.

Common Conditions That Respond Well:

Applied Kinesiology doesn't treat diseases. It identifies and corrects functional patterns in the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. These patterns often underlie:

  • Chronic pain that moves or migrates
  • Recurring injuries in the same area
  • Postural issues causing compensation patterns
  • Movement dysfunction or limited range of motion
  • Muscle weakness without obvious cause
  • Problems that worsen with specific activities, foods, or stress
  • Complex cases involving multiple symptoms

You're NOT a Good Candidate If:

You need medical diagnosis
Applied Kinesiology identifies functional patterns. If you have unexplained symptoms that might be disease (unexplained weight loss, persistent fever, neurological changes), see a medical doctor first. Get imaging, labs, and rule out pathology before assuming it's functional.

You want a quick fix
If you're looking for one adjustment to fix years of compensation patterns, this isn't it. Most patients need 4-6 visits to correct the primary dysfunction and address compensation. That's still fast compared to months of ineffective treatment elsewhere, but it's not instant.

You're not willing to follow through
If muscle testing reveals nutritional factors or lifestyle modifications affecting your function, I'll tell you. You decide whether to address them. But if you ignore those factors, results will be limited. Applied Kinesiology identifies what your body needs. You have to be willing to do it.

You expect guarantees
I can tell you within 3-4 visits whether this approach is working for your case. Most patients see significant improvement. Some don't respond as expected. If we're not making progress within a month, I'll refer you elsewhere. That's honest assessment, not a guarantee.

Still Not Sure?

Ask yourself:

  • Have I tried standard treatment without lasting results?
  • Do I want to understand what's actually causing my problem?
  • Am I willing to invest 4-6 visits to find out if this works?
  • Would I rather correct the pattern now than manage symptoms for years?

If you answered yes, schedule an examination.
